General Meeting Minutes for September 2018

Attending the September Meeting were; Al Holtsberry, Cliff Davis, Ed Caughell, Henning Carlsen, Dave Burroughs, Jamie Picou and Winston Campbell.

It is great to see Cliff back and on the mend. We have missed Dick Giovanetti from breakfast for several weeks. Ed talked with him on the phone and he is well, just has a different social schedule. Glad to hear he is okay.

The meeting was called to order at 7:59 P.M. by President Jamie.

The meeting minutes from August were read by President Jamie. Henning made the motion to accept and Cliff second.

The Treasurer report:

No changes since last month.

Membership:

Assumed no changes since last month in the absence of Steve, our membership chair.

Old Business:

We had to meet in the main dining area again this month and will have to next month as well. It’s tolerable.

New Business:

Just a note. Holt BMW in Athens, Ohio is dropping their BMW dealership. They will still do painting.

Activities:

There is a Motorcycle Sport Touring Association fall leaf tour. It is Sept. 27-30, 2018. You can make reservations at the Quality Inn, 540 N. Jefferson St., Lewisburg, W. Va. Phone 304-645-7722.

Start planning ahead.

The 2019 BMW RA Rally will be in Woodstock, Va. Sept. 5-8.

The 2019 BMW MOA Rally Will be Lebanon, Tn. June 13-16, 2019.

The Buckeye Beemers fall leaf ride will be on Oct. 12. Note that is a Friday. Meet at Bob Evans restaurant on Hamilton Rd. and Rt. 33 with stands up at 9:00 A.M.At 8:22 I made a motion to adjourn, Cliff second, meeting adjourned.
